About Susan
Susan Neuber has spent a lifetime concentrating her efforts in the medical field. Not only does Susan presently work with lyme disease patients, she works as a hospitalist, in hospice, and in research. She also has experience as a paramedic, in pediatrics, in cardiology, and in home care. She received her first bachelor’s degree in Biology from McGill University. She received second bachelor’s degree in nursing from Regis College. Susan received her master’s degree in science from Regis College and is a master’s candidate at McGill University. Susan also has an associate’s degree in paramedical science. She is ACLS and PALS certified and is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Susan has worked closely alongside Dr. Bernard Raxlen. She has also received additional Lyme training with Dr. Charles Ray Jones and further Lyme education from Dr. Joseph Burrascano.
Susan’s interest in treating patients with lyme disease and other tick borne illnesses came from her own battle with the illness. She suffered immensely for years, putting her life on hold, while trying to find a diagnosis for her symptoms. Susan was ultimately treated for three tick borne diseases. She is excited to be able to provide hope and treatment to others in a truly understanding environment.
